MICHIGAN-BASED DORSEY COLLEGE OFFERS NEW TRAINING PROGRAMS AT SAGINAW, MI CAMPUS

Dorsey College Now Offers HVAC Technician, and Medical Laboratory Assistant Training in Saginaw, Michigan 

Dorsey College, a trusted name in career training and education here in Michigan for over 85 years, recently announced that they  have expanded their program offerings at the Saginaw, MI campus. The college will now offer their HVAC Systems Technician  program and their new Medical Laboratory Assistant program at the Saginaw campus, which serves the tri-county area. Dorsey  College’s Saginaw campus will be hosting a Grand Opening celebration for its new programs Friday November 4, 2022, from 11:00  a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The ceremony will begin with remarks and a ribbon cutting. Guests will also be invited to take part in a tour of the  school given by our student ambassadors and faculty. Students from Dorsey College’s Massage Therapy program will also be  offering complimentary chair massages. Attendees will include members of Dorsey’s executive team, local dignitaries and  employers, students, and faculty. Local officials and members of the Dorsey College staff scheduled to speak include:

  • John Barnes, President and CEO, Dorsey College 
  • Tracey Bass, Managing Director, Dorsey College – Saginaw, MI campus 

When asked about the new training programs, John Barnes, President, and CEO for Dorsey College shared, “Dorsey has always been  committed to helping meet the needs in our local communities by offering training programs that are designed to prepare our  students for promising new careers. The addition of our HVAC Systems Technician and Medical Laboratory Assistant programs at the Saginaw, MI campus will allow us to assist local employers meet their needs for skilled professionals in these fields. Dorsey  College has been and continues to be committed to providing exceptional career training to help our students as they pursue their  new career.”  

The Saginaw campus welcomed its first group of new HVAC Systems Technician and Medical Laboratory Assistant students in mid August 2022, and the school has expanded its space with the addition of these new training program. In addition to these new  programs, the Saginaw, MI campus offers specialized training programs geared towards preparing students for careers as Medical  Assistants, Medical Administration and Billing professionals, Practical Nurses, and Massage Therapists. The Dorsey College Saginaw campus is conveniently located at 4390 Bay Road, Saginaw, MI 48603. The campus is located in the Bay Fashion Square Plaza next to  the Secretary of State office.
