Exciting news was announced recently that Dorsey Schools will be relocating its Madison Heights Campus to a new location! The relocation is expected to take place before July 1st 2014 and will move both the Madison Heights Campus and the Corporate Offices to a new, spacious and modern facility that will be located in the Madison Court Complex on John R Rd., between 13 Mile Rd. and 14 Mile Rd. The new campus location is located on the SMART bus line and is in walking distance to many nearby dining and shopping stores, such as Red Robin, Target, and – also new to the area – Jimmy John’s and Pancheros.
In a message from President and CEO Patricia Fischer to the Dorsey team, “This year marks a milestone for Dorsey Schools, as we celebrate our 80th anniversary and the distinction of being the longest-standing career training school in Michigan.” Fischer also mentioned that the Dorsey team is looking to start offering more programs at the new location, but no information is available as yet of what will be offered.
Fischer thanked the Dorsey team, saying, “The commitment every member of the Dorsey team has to provide quality career education and positive reinforcement to enable the individual development of self-esteem, self-reliance, discipline, and confidence in all graduates, coupled with an obligation to the communities in which they live and work, remains at the core of our mission.” Relocating to this new location will help Dorsey Schools continue with that mission, enabling them to flourish and grow as a well-known career school that operates with the highest levels of ethics and integrity.
The Madison Heights Campus currently offers diploma programs for: Practical Nursing, Medical Assisting, Medical Administration and Billing, and Patient Care Technician.
