Another great group of talent is about to join the job market after this graduation season. This April, hundreds of students graduated from Dorsey Schools throughout Michigan. And this year, Dorsey Schools hosted several graduation events, where students and teachers could take part in smaller, more intimate ceremonies as a way to celebrate all of their hard work and dedication throughout their studies at Dorsey.
Each graduation ceremony included graduates and their families plus a guest speaker. Graduates were then individually called to be recognized as they walked across the stage and presented with a certificate for their achievements and hard work. Students were also presented with a rose and asked to present the rose to someone who helped them along their journey, whether it might have been a family member or friend.
John Barnes, the new President of Dorsey Schools, said: “It’s our pleasure to celebrate with these graduates and recognize them for their hard work, and share in the excitement and passion for their chosen careers. For the past 80 years, Dorsey Schools has been a trusted institution, committed to helping individuals train for new careers and our commitment to the people of Michigan, as well as the communities in which they live and work is as strong as ever.”
