The sooner you start; the sooner you finish!

One of the many great things about training at Dorsey College is the fact that you can complete your program faster than you may think! At Dorsey College, many of our programs can be completed in a year or less. This means you can complete your training in a relatively short amount of time and begin pursuing your newly chosen career. It is time to stop procrastinating. The sooner you begin your program, the sooner you can finish your program. Just think, by this time next year, you could be on your way towards beginning your new career – just before the holidays. What an amazing gift to yourself that would be!

Kids are heading back to school this Fall, you can too!

Kids are heading back to school this Fall, which can make it an easy time for the adults in their life to go back to school as well. For many, going back to school in the Fall makes sense because it puts the family members into a new routine at the same time. In addition, there’s just something about heading back to school in the Fall time that can get you excited. Latch on to that motivation and take the first step towards going back to school this Fall.

Set an example for your kids!

We mentioned above that putting yourself on a new school routine when your kids are getting back into their school schedule can be beneficial for everyone.  In addition, if you are a parent, making the decision to go back to school can also be a motivation and inspiration to your kids.  After all, they will see that you are working to better yourself every day. You are willing to put in the hard work to get what you want. Show your kids that you never stop learning, regardless of how old you may be. In addition, this is a great way to get your kids to do their homework and study. Make it fun. Perhaps set aside time to do your homework and study at the same time each night with your kids.

It’s a popular time of year to start school!

The Fall tends to be a very popular time for students to head back to school to make a change in their life. Each year, hundreds of new students begin their career training program at Dorsey College in the Fall. Many choose the Fall for the reasons we have already shared with you here.  Given the popularity of the October 2021 class start, now is a great time to consider starting on your path towards a new career.

Seats in certain programs may be limited.

New enrollments in certain Dorsey College career training programs may be limited or have limited seats.  Again, this is another reason why October 2021 is a good time to start your career training.  One example is the Associate of Applied Science in Nursing program at Dorsey College.  This program is only scheduled to start new students two times per year. So, for those who don’t start in October, they are going to wait until sometime in 2022 before they can begin.  That can seem like a long time!  Keep in mind, NOW is a great time to begin your training and get started on pursuing your new career.  If you are thinking about training for a new career and want to start classes in October, it is a great time to contact an Admissions Representative at Dorsey College to learn more!
